Our school was thrilled to welcome Explorer Dome for an immersive science experience all about light. Pupils stepped inside the inflatable planetarium to take part in a dynamic, hands-on show filled with glowing demonstrations, dazzling colours, and exciting experiments.
Throughout the session, children explored how light travels, how shadows are formed, why we see different colours, and even how our eyes work. With plenty of opportunities to investigate, interact, and ask questions, the show brought science to life in a memorable and engaging way.
It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to deepen their understanding of light through curiosity, wonder, and real scientific discovery. A huge thankâyou to Explorer Dome for inspiring our young scientists and to FOBS for funding this.
