    We were delighted to welcome Chris Johnson to school for an exciting day of Animal Encounters! The experience began with a whole-school assembly where Chris introduced the children to a fascinating range of animals and explained where each one came from, how they live in the wild, and the important ways we can help protect their habitats.ere.

    Classes then took turns to enjoy their own hands‑on workshop. Pupils had the unique opportunity to get up close with the animals—touching, observing, and asking thoughtful questions. The visit was a fantastic blend of learning and adventure, giving children the chance to build confidence, develop respect for living things, and deepen their understanding of the natural world.

    A huge thank you to Chris for an unforgettable two days and for FOBS for funding this amazing experience for students and staff!
