Phase 2 Visit to Dartmoor

During the visit, students explored the historic Haytor Quarry, learning about the lives of quarry workers and the challenges they faced. This brought history to life and gave valuable insight into local heritage. The group also took part in exciting rock scrambling activities, where they developed confidence, teamwork, and resilience while navigating the natural terrain.

To complete the experience, students walked across Dartmoor, taking in the breathtaking scenery and experiencing its unique environment first-hand.
