    • Uniform

    At Bovey Tracey Academy, we have a uniform that all the children wear. The uniform is an integral part of the school ethos.

    Uniform

    The school uniform is as follows:

    • Sweatshirt / pullover / sweat cardigan – maroon (with or without school logo)
    • Polo shirt – white
    • Skirt / pinafore / trousers / shorts – grey
    • Plain dark shoes – no logo
    • Plain dark or white socks
    • Plain tights – black, grey or maroon
    • Summer dress – pink or red and white check

    Other Items

    • School bookbag (provided to our Reception starters each year but to be replaced if lost/damaged)
    • Forest school clothes (old clothes with long sleeves/legs, waterproof trousers/coat and wellies)

    PE Kit

    • Polo shirt – yellow gold ( a logo PE top is available if you would prefer)
    • Shorts – maroon
    • Socks – white
    • Trainers
    • Dark coloured tracksuit/leggings/thermal layer – optional

    Please also note:

    • Plain hairbands only, no additions
    • Long hair must be tied back please
    • No makeup or nail varnish please
    • No necklaces, rings or Smart watches please
    • Stud earrings only – to be removed during PE
    • Children may wear a watch (but not a SMART watch – any watch that can link with the internet, receive or send calls or messages or take photographs etc).

    Where to buy our uniform

    The majority of school uniform can be bought from a wide range of retailers, including supermarkets

    Items of school uniform need to be clearly labelled with the child’s name.
